Purpose of Winterization:
Due to the extreme weather conditions in the Alaska interior, it is important to winterize your vehicle. A vehicle without winterization can cause the external case of the battery to crack, and it can also cause the fluids to freeze.
Keeping your vehicle plugged in overnight will allow the battery to stay warm, keep the engine oil and other fluids from freezing, and will better help the vehicle to start.
